Peter,
My thought is to try for a repair first.  I would think that this will only
happen with the replacement as well.  Check around to car upholstery and
restoration shops for help/guidance.

My binnacle has drooped! No..it's not a medical condition...it's the black
surround of the instruments here

Underneath is folded and shaped plastic, much to my surprise, and I don't
know how to fix it. I haven't been able to source a new one (it's right hand
drive) and I have no clue as to what industry could fix such a thing.

Anyone got any hints?
