Sadly, mine's a series II so it's some really crappy plastic. Bit of a backwards step over the series I in that respect, I think. -----Original Message----- From: jimshadow [at] verizon.net [mailto:jimshadow [at] verizon.net] Sent: Wednesday, 6 June 2007 10:20 PM To: Peter Pless; Jim Cc: The FerrariList Subject: Re: [Ferrari] GT4 dashboard Peter, If its fibreglass, I would think that it could be remade/repaired by any 'glass shop. I seem to remember that someone left their 308GT4 out on a stinking hot day all closed up and I guess the in-cabin temperature hit extremes and led to some sort of melty, warpy thing (technical term) happening to the dash binnacle!. I have also heard of people restoring these - don't know how, but may well have been judicial use of heat or else some sort of fibreglass rebuild. But in Sydney I'd talk to either Miles Sandy at Cavallino MotorSports or Gerry Duyvestyn (NSW FCA pres.) because I know they will have seen this many times before.
