Sadly, mine's a series II so it's some really crappy plastic. Bit of a
backwards step over the series I in that respect, I think.

If its fibreglass, I would think that it could be remade/repaired  by any
'glass shop.

Hi Peter,

You are not Robinson Crusoe with this problem - it's not uncommon, and I
believe it is heat related. I seem to remember that someone left their
308GT4 out on a stinking hot day all closed up and I guess the in-cabin
temperature hit extremes and led to some sort of melty, warpy thing
(technical term) happening to the dash binnacle!.

I have also heard of people restoring these - don't know how, but may well
have been judicial use of heat or else some sort of fibreglass rebuild. But
in Sydney I'd talk to either Miles Sandy at Cavallino MotorSports or Gerry
Duyvestyn (NSW FCA pres.) because I know they will have seen this many times
before.
