Haha...funny conincidence. Dash is being recovered anyway...covering is already removed. Will try heat and massage tomorrow...i might do some work on the dashboard as well. -----Original Message----- From: Rick Lindsay [mailto:rolindsay [at] yahoo.com] Sent: Wednesday, 6 June 2007 10:37 PM To: Peter Pless Cc: 'The FerrariList' Subject: Re: [Ferrari] GT4 dashboard Right, BUT, the plastic one can be reshaped by heating and massage. The glass one probably can't. I suggest that you continue with the heat-gun idea. You may even be able to save the upholstery. After all, it heat-deformed with the upholstery in place! BTW, if you DO get the shape back, you can also reinforce it with fiberglass (or something) and probably ward off future sags. rick PS: Can you tell that I am currently working on my MGB's dash?! http://www.aubard.us/MGB/HPIM0614.JPG and http://www.aubard.us/MGB/HPIM0609.JPG --- Peter Pless <ferrarilist [at] pless.com.au> wrote: > Sadly, mine's a series II so it's some really crappy plastic.
