Yep, the street cars use a jumper across the harness
connector.  With that much crud happening on the wheel
I wonder how they interface it.  USB?  If it were an
MG there would be a great huge harness, wraped in blue
tape containing partly melted un-tined wires, sticking
out and restricting rotational movement!
