Is there any reason to think that they could complete a facility of that
class in one year? That seems incredibly ambitious to me...

Hey Gang,

I'm in Austin, TX for a conference and on the way over from Houston, I
drove by the site of the 2011 US F1 GP (highway 290 at highway 130
intersection). That area is in the start of the Texas Hill Country and
as the name implies, there's quite a bit of elevation relief - lots of
ups and downs. A track built there would be anything but boring!  Add in
the fact that its 2-1/2 hours from my front door and I'm smiling.
