Hi Britt,
Except for the lower front bumper area I think the 360 is beautiful - and the air inlets eventually grew on me. I feel the same about the 550 - IMHO it's drop-dead gorgeous and the perfect evolvement of the Daytona Coupe. And while the 456 is understated, I find it incredibly sexy.

As far as <<heart aching beautiful cars.>> I think the govt reqmnts of govt's all over the world dictate to an extent just how far the designers can go when designing something gorgeous. The days of the 275GTB, 275GTS, 206 SP. 330 variants (I know, ... they're race cars and shouldn't be included in this comparision - but it's my rules) Daytona Coupe, SuperAmerica and possibly one or 2 others are severely limited to how cutting edge the cars can be.

I must admit, the last few years have seen some great bumper treatments by using plastic of various kinds.

Anyway -

Its strange really, here in the UK you can get a 430 for about a £10k
premium. The 599 sells quicker for a slightly higher premium. We are buried under
used 360s.....Antony Shine who heads the FOC London area ordered two 430s...got
the first one on June 30th last year. He didn't like it at all and unloaded it
within 6 weeks for a 550. He has owned a heck of a lot of Ferraris but thought
the 430 just wasn't right. Technically its magnificent but it really isn't
beautiful is it? I wish Ferrari would go back to making heart aching beautiful
cars.
