Much ado about nothing. It turns out that the wire that was causing the engine to stutter every time I hit a bump was the big green wire that runs beside the oil vapour separator (tav 17 in parts manual). It runs beside the tube from oil vapour separator (bottom tube). I remembered touching it a few weeks ago because I felt it was squeezed in place on the engine. I decided to go under the car and I could clearly see the little copper (?) wires through the green band. I taped it over with green electrical tape. Mind you, only one hand can be used to tape it. You need good finger dexterity to tape something with only one hand. Question: What is that big green wire ? I can’t see where it comes from nor where it’s going. I can’t find it in my owner’s manual or parts manual. Michel No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
