BS, I performed an oil change on my 97 355 spider just two evenings ago. (I
have always changed the oil on my 355 myself) Used a jack and stands, new
factory Purflux oil filter, some copper crush washers for the drain plugs,
and 9 quarts of Mobil 1. As previously stated, there are some under trays
that need to be removed, along with a ton of fasteners, but other than that,
no more difficult than changing the oil on my previous 308 or 328! Takes an
extra 30 minutes to remove and reinstall the under trays and all those
fasteners though!

The 328 is the way togo
It is a great car that is easy to work on and has GM air
They are bullet proof as well

The 355/360 require dealer intervention for a basic oil change!

Hi Ric,
Thanks for the very detailed comparision! The depth of knowledge on this
list always amazes me.
It;s easy to see how passionate all of you are about these great cars! A
328GTSi is still high on
my list of "cars to buy" when the money is available - although the 355 &
360 are pretty high on that list also.

I am curious about one of your comments -
You wrote:<<Neither is the front bonnet [interchangible], as I think it's
composite (vs. aluminum on the 308's). The roof panel is not
interchangeable either for the same reason>>

Why would the material of construction prevent a part from being
interchangible - as
long as the dimensions are the same?
