curious why dealer intervention on an oil change ?

Hi Ric, Thanks for the very detailed comparision! The depth of knowledge on this list always amazes me. It;s easy to see how passionate all of you are about these great cars! A 328GTSi is still high on my list of "cars to buy" when the money is available - although the 355 & 360 are pretty high on that list also.

Why would the material of construction prevent a part from being interchangible - as long as the dimensions are the same?
