Well, since I'm living in Baja Arkansas, all we can do is wash the 208 Shitbox
(my semi-daily driver) load up 'der Frau und Kindl' (wife and son) and drive
about an hour south on a beautiful 2 lane blacktop in the middle of a huge pine
forest to the annual 'Cajun Crawfish and Music Fest' held in El Dorado. Y'all
know the menu. Crawfish, shrimp, catfish, oysters on the half-shell, gumbo, and
jambolaya. There is also either oyster or shrimp po-boys if that's to your
taste. You do have to pick your own beer out of these wash tubs filled with
cracked ice.ÂMusic starts about 4pm, and they have an eclectic lineup. Cajun,
Zideco, Swamp Rock, Blues, and even a Lynrd Skynrd Southern Rock cover band.
Last Saturday we took the Shitbox up to Magic Springs Water Park for a day of
'fun in the sun' and to watch Creedence Clearwater, who put on a hell of a
show. God, how I miss the good old days in L.A. or Tucson where my Saturdays
were filled with gunshots, screams, sirens and those pesky Police Heliocopters
hovering over my backyard poolabout 200 feet over the deckÂat 1am, shinning
their 5 zillion watt searchlight down on my swimsuit optional 'CPR classes'
That I held on Saturday nights for about a dozen of my close friends.

 Hello Friends,
Its Saturday - at least here in the western
hemisphere! What kinds of car-projects do you have in
today's queue? I hope to (until Nancy revises my
 priorities):

+ Lay plans to have the SL500's front and rear bumper
covers repainted. Consider a sonar backup alert
device for the FRONT of the car, to warn of
 spoiler-damaging low curbs.

+ Get the 308GTB on the battery charger. Buy a
battery tender so I won't always have to do step 1.

+ Remove the MGB muffler, replace damaged exhaust
 hangers, install new muffler.

+ Buy a new tank of propane for the grill.

+ Clean charity-junk out of garage, take to Goodwill.

Damn, I have an exciting life!!!
