Does anyone know about any such recall? I was searching (and still am) for
information about how to remove the center console to try and remove the goo
-- there is a potentially useful thread about goo removal (but apparently
relying on corrosive chemicals such as oven cleaner) on Ferrarichat -- and
read the following: "On vehicles with vehicle identification numbers between
86815 and 98741 the metal fuel supply line banjo fittings may fracture if
the nut attaching the lines to the fuel filter is tightened in excess of the
required torque. Should such a condition occur, the result would be leakage
of the fuel from the fractured line.? That's the first I heard of it, and
the link in the thread, supposedly to details, doesn't work.
Thanks, Larry
