sorry missed that - was just naming all the things that might be at fault.
Unless, he passes thru the DSLzone and the computer gets all frazzled while 
driving in a north/south direction.

Obviously, he forgot to wear his aluminim foil hat - or forgot to cover his 
computer with alum foil while driving - the forces in outer space are 
evidently drilling into his puter and zapping it -

See?  that's what happens when you;re not a guru ;-)
