I had the Pertronix setup installed in my '78 308GTS a while ago.  It works 
great.  Replaces the points inside the distributers.  No external  boxes 
required.  Done by a mechanic in San Diego.  I'm sure he would make the mod to 
your dizzys if you sent them to him.  I can give you contact info if you need 
it.

I just completed the 30K service on my GTS (valve adj, cam belts, tensioner 
bearings, oil, filter, etc.).   All the work can all be done with the engine in 
the vehicle.  Why are you taking the engine out?
