Ferrari Mailing List: Re: 412's

Met a guy last week with a 400i, 5 speed.  I must say, it was always one of
my all time fave GT cars.  Problem is, they are cheap to buy, but expensive
to run, so examples are often junk now.  He liked the car, and maintained it
as it should be, and it was near perfect.  It was a Euro spec car. I don't
have personal experience with the cars, but after talking to a few ppl, if
they are maintained as they should be, and used on a regular bases, the
engines are good for about 150,000 miles. I'd love to have one and it's
probably one of the few I could perhaps buy.
