My 400i auto has 73k on her and runs perfect. If taken care of and in great 
shape then its a great GT car. Handles much much better than you would think by 
looking at it. Check for rust in boot lid, wings, front and rear bumpers, 
sills, lower doors, ect. Check all the electrics work. Engine and drive train 
are 
pretty much bullet proof. I have never seen one over here with less than 70k 
so they were used as a ferrari and take miles well. Tyres can be expensive but 
maintenence is an oil change every year and valve adjust every 12k or so.
For 20k US if its in great shape I would buy it tomorrow if I lived there! 
Thats 50% the price they go for in England and go for more on the continent. 
Buy 
it and ship it back over here!!
