NOBODY plays by the rules in F1.  It is the quest of
every team to stretch the definition of the rules to
the extreme.  There's just too much money involved for
this to be a fair, friendly sport.  And like they say
in New Orleans;  The difference between right and
wrong is in whether you get caught.  McL got caught,
Ferrari didn't, making them the benevolent benefactor.

Do I agree with clYde that there is a crisp line
between stretching the rules and illegal acts?  Yes I
do.   ...but we will never know what really went on
behind closed doors.
