On a more serious note.......

$100 very large is a serious chunk. I'm assuming that is Euros,
making it that much worse in the eyes of us Yanks. This is a
check that even Bill Gates would cringe while writing.

Suppose McL refuses? I doubt that there is much legal punch
behind the decision, as it would sort of be like your country club
fining you $100 for peeing into a tree in a public place (don't
ask......). The only enforcement is total exclusion until the amount
is paid (again, don't ask......). So....

Far fetched thought: Maybe McL refuses to pay. Which means
leaving F1. What would they do? As I recall, their roots were in
sports cars. Remember the McLaren CanAm cars? M8F, if
my soggy brain cells remember, was a designation for a real
ground pounder using an all aluminum 530cid Chevy. Fast forward
and look to the ALMS and the sister Euro series. Yes, I know that
it is a drop in the bucket compared to F1, but it still is interesting
racing, involving Audi, Pugeot (sp), and even Porsche.

Hans.
