Subject: [Ferrari] 308 hand brake problem

I went to move the 308 today by pushing it and found I could not move the
swine!
I jacked the back up and found the left rear brake was stuck on.

Upon examination I found the little arm on the caliper that is connected to
the hand brake had not fully returned when the hand brake was let off....

My question is....
How does the force transfer from that little lever to the pads?
And can I take the lever off starting with the screw on the top to service,
clean and lub that part without all hell braking lose (no pun intended!) and
brake fluid going everywhere?

The calipers were "rebuilt" by the main Ferrari agent over a year ago and
the discs machines at that time all before I bought it.... just looking at
the dirt around the caliper I am guessing they didn't touch the handbrake
bit at all...

Regards
Gavin
