Wait - a single mom caring for four kids doesn't make living with noise and
displacement for a week worthwhile for you?

Ok, poor single mom, but then again she is living in something like a $663k
house. But then again she may not drive a Ferrari.

Perhaps she would be less poor if she downsized into something she could
afford to own outright and then took several of those hundreds of thousands of
dollar left over to use in every day life, either principle or interest.

Not the woman police officer, which incidentally my wife is, who is in need
of a handicapped accessible house, at least not to the best of my knowledge.
In our community we don't need TV shows to take care of our injured heroines,
or heroes we do it ourselves.

Marine at the WTC on 911, see above paragraph.

Perhaps in this instance just another individual who overcome by the "need
to breed" as well as to live in a house that might be more than she could
afford on her income (yes, she could relocate, many of us with military and
government careers did that on a regular basis and survived) but is determined
not
to live within her means. And, of course, we don't know if she is a widow
without appropriate peri-fatal incident financial planning or simply a
divorcee
who managed to keep the house and just can't make it on the amount that the
judge has stiffer her ex to provide to her, mostly to his financial
disadvantage. Like the Naked City, there are a million stories as to how one
becomes a
"single mom" and some may be tragic or heroic, but no such information has
been provided here, and there is no reason to ascribe the attributes of
"martyrdom" to every woman who assumes that role. After all, in most cases,
motherhood is a voluntary occupation, and some even assume custody for that
non-taxable child support income. Not all are evil, not all are worthy, most
are
somewhere on the bell curve between villain and virtue, but nonetheless, being
a
"single mom" is neither a synonym for, nor analogous to being worthy of pity,
charity, or admiration.
