The added value flat tax is an old idea on its last gasp. It requires too much paperwork for the exemptions. They propose collecting flat added value tax on all expenditures for everyone but since half the population would be exempt they have to keep receipts, apply for rebates and await a check. You want fair...you ain't getting fair. When I'm king I'll tax accumulated net worth not income. Just like the old days. Real old. 5% of your net worth gets confiscated yearly by the govt - that especially means Kennedy old money ! No exemptions, no incentives, just what you work for you keep 100% including capitol profits.
