Couple of thoughts.... there is nothing in the sporting regulations or the
technical regulations about having to start a wet race on full wets (one big
item about F1 versus NASCAR is that the rules are there for all to see). It
was a safety steward decision, and apparently Ferrari did not get the word.
The FIA has apologized about the failure to get the word to Ferrari.

Ferrari had no way to know what tires the other teams had on until the tire
warmers came off... way too late to react.

If the skies had rapidly cleared, then EVERYONE else would have had to pit,
putting Ferrari up a stop and on the right tires. Only the fact that the
weather stayed poor hurt them. It was a bit of a gamble, but if the skies
had cleared we'd all be singing the praises of a great strategic move.

Oh, Massa is going nowhere next year - he is staying at Ferrari. So if
Alonso does move to Ferrari, he would take Kimi's seat (and I do not think
that would happen).

Agree - for some reason I just cannot warm up to this guy. I know he has
some talent but he doesn't seem to have any ethics, integrity, personality,
etc. Like a RC car. I guess winning 2 World Championships gives hiom some
solid credentials, I just flat don;t like the guy. But can't really explain

why/ L Hamilton seems like a truely nice guy though. But I suspect he is
becoming wiser to the ways of the world pretty quickly. With his rapid rise

to fame has brought the best and worst of people around him I fear.

At least Alonso doesn't drive for Ferrari. Unless that desire was behind
his recent acts -

Have a nice week ya'll --
