I'll never forget it. I was going to school up in San Jose back in October, 
1957 and we heard on the radio that it was going to pass over us at 2:30am 
travelling in a southeast direction. A bunch of us stayed up ... sure enough, 
we saw a bright pin-point light move silently across the sky. To say that we 
were impressed would be an understatement.
