I was in one of these about 6 weeks ago at the "pre-launch" party. We had the only car in the country at the time and it looked pretty finished but hopefully they will make it a bit nicer! The design is fantastic. The interior like all Masers is really good to but there were a few small things that were disappointing; the carpet is the nastiest, cheapest crap you can imagine (hope they update that!). Somr fit and finish things were just not right; the seat belt guides on the seats were not aligned at all and it was obvious. Of course our car may not be representative of the ones coming off the production line. I have been to the Maser factory three times in the past 7 years and it is an impressive facility...Its a BIG car as well. Make no mistake it dwarfs the old coupe and convertible. I am 6'0 and can sit in the back with the drivers seat in position as well. Here it is priced the same as the baby aston, £77k, and I would have one over the Aston. It is a GT though, not a sports car, to big to be very sporty. Britt The new issue of R&T (Nov) has a short thing about this new addition to the Maser line. With a V8 & 405hp, and a very high level of fit 'n finish, it will hopefully sell like Italian hotcakes. The part most noticible was the photo - from bumper level at 25feet it's an incredibly beautiful design IMHO. Priced at $110K it's out of my price range - hopefully some or all of ya'll will buy one so I can live vicariously through you. ;-) Drive it hard and fast then tell me all about it. Hmmm I wonder if I could convince a dealership to let me borrow one for the weekend? <lol> Doubtful, *real* doubtful. ;-) About as likely as the ferrari dealer letting me borrow a F430 to see how I like it. ;-) They obviously have more sense than that! Love this car!!
