I have one as well, as I ordered it from the originator of the product
several years ago.  It is a replacement, but not perfect.  I have yet to
install mine, but have noted those that have, that it is noticeably
different in appearance than the rest of the console. It does not illuminate
properly like the oem faceplate either.

If you are having the inevitable bubbling on your A/C controls in the 355, 
Daniel at Ricambi America has a new plastic decal/overlay that makes it look

new again. You have to take a razor blade and very carefully slice around 
the control box to remove the old display/indicators sine it was actually 
made onto the unit originally. I have seen the Ricambi overlay and it looks 
beautiful when done right.
