Hey Dan: My 208 Dino was a 'daily driver' in Tucson from 1999 til 2005. That's
6 years. From driving my son 2 miles to pre-school 5 days a week to 450 miles
each way in July to the beach in California.?Never had to be towed once. And
speaking of immigrants or the elderly, we lived an hour from the Mexican
border. Before the Ferrari, my Lancia Scorpion was totaled by a drunk?illegal
Mexican, driving a stolen car. Of course he had neither a valid drivers license
or insurance. While I was stopped at a red light, he rear-ended me while doing
an estimated 50 mph, according to the accident report.? After he got out of the
hospital, he disappeared back into Mexico, leaving me with a totaled car, sore
back and a severe headache. I say you can be a victim whether you live in South
Florida, Tucson, or Fargo North Dakota. Don't be afraid to take your Ferrari
out and run the hell out of it whenever you want. That's why you're buying it,
isn't it??

Yer pal, Shitbox Bubba

My F40 is not a daily commuter. The Dino I am looking at will not be either.
The law of averages is my basis for this train of thought. If you drive any
reasonable distance every single day in an area like South Florida where I
live you would understand why I look at it this way. I have no problem with
immigrants trying to make a better life for themselves or the elderly
retiring to a tropical resort atmosphere but...................(Ex. 1)If you
can't speak English, chances are you can't read it either therefore it only
goes to say that you would fail to follow simple traffic signs installed for
everyone's safety. (Ex. 2) My Great Uncle says ever since his stroke he has
not been able to turn his head to the right very well and those darn hearing
aid batteries just don't last long enough. The good news is the cataract
surgery cleared up his left eye pretty well so we can hope it only does the
same for the right since its a little worse. ....BUT HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE
WOULD DO IF HE WASN'T STILL ABLE TO DRIVE......I wouldn't have one where I
live. I have a very high concentration of these two types here and the Smart
would =Deathtrap.
