Ok, so you're in the Ferrari Fixers Club! I'm freakin' envious!
I almost bought Andrew's GT4, decided not to, then told him about it. He,
another guy in Colo and myself all bought our GT4's within a couple weeks of
each other...
Have fun working on PizzaMan's car! What a fun project!

I still have mine - we have a very-active circle of 308 owners here in MA/NH
who get together pretty frequently. However, most of us aren't the high-roller
types that FCA or the local dealership really cater to, so we do our own
'thing'. Most of us get together to work on our own cars - one member had bad
tranny synchros in his 308 transmission, and we're all pulling his engine next
sunday after the race. We have our own BB/website, we keep it 'tight', and
have some VERY knowledgeable tech people around to ask questions - I won't name
names, but one of the guys in our group turned wrenches for the Chinetti shop
in Connecticut and has Factory/Italian-connections........'nuff said.

I don't post too much on F-list, because either most people don't know - or
don't care. I don't see/hear Ric Rainbolt, and he's the guy whose ear I'd want
to bend the most. I'm a 308 driver, not a F512M dreamer, so for the most part
I just lurk.

  Cheers,

  Hey Gang,
I have been lurking (mostly) for the past year or
two. Not much to say really except perhaps when a
nerve is tweaked. The thing I have noticed is that
when I joined the list in '96, the talk was all about
308s. Of course, many of the new V8 cars were hardly
ideas then. But since then, the list has grown and
evolved and the road going GT cars have also changed.
Today I find it rare to see a post concerning a 308.
Hell, some days its rare to see a post about Ferraris!
Still, the recent thread on 355 tires has me
thinking, "Have we forgotten the 308s?" I now wonder
about the model distribution within the marque, of
list member Ferrari owners. What fraction of
FerrariList Ferrari owners do the 308 owners make up?

Happy Tuesday!
