Only one way to know Rick, have it tested and if necessary, calibrated.  I
had my 20+ year old Utica tools torque wrench tested last year, and
surprisingly it was spot on.  My buddy's two brand new Craftsman torque
wrenches were both significantly off.

My torque wrench is cheap and probably inaccurate so I set it to 70 and
check the bolts before most runs - while I'm checking tire pressures.

What?s the torque on the 5 wheel bolts on a 1981 308 GTSi ?
 
I finally decided to buy a torque wrench. I was very excited to use it
right away. But I can?t find the information in the owner?s manual and
the parts manual.
