Stewart,

Well, if you are a SciFi fan, then by all means get the new Battlestar
Galactica and Heroes two of the best from the current crop of science
fiction. Also my al-time favorite space odyssey is "Babylon 5" (the first
season was a little bit slow, but you need it for all of the background and
from there just hang on for the ride). The new Doctor Who is pretty decent.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer was an amazing series along with its spinoff Angel.
The Stargate series is decent (I actually like Atlantis over SG1). Eureka is
awesome. Then there are tons of regular stuff out there. If you are a
TV-oholic then find a series that interested you but you didn't have a
chance to watch it. I find that a marginal series is monotonous if you are
watching it night after night. Hopefully there is a BestBuy nearby and you
can just buy the first season of a show to sample it. I have also like
Supernatural, Smallville, Boston Legal (a great show), Desperate House
Wives, Shark, Two and a Half Men, Grey's Anatomy, Numbers (I really like
this one), and lots more that I watch regularly. Yes, I know, I have a
problem.

I second the idea of a Slingbox if you are addicted to current programming,
or if you just need to keep up with what your TiVO (or equivalent) is
recording.

The quality is watchable on a PC, but it is not something you will want to
blow up real big.

Good luck,
Dave

Subject: [Ferrari] NFC - TV series recommendation?

Hi guys I am about to go off for a 4-week+ assignment and I want to bring
along some "television" DVDs to keep me entertained. I am somewhat out of
touch with all the latest and greatest other than "The Office" that I love
and tivoed. Any recommendations on some other "TV series" that are
engaging? Maybe something in HBO (I do not have HBO now but I can get DVDs
from Netflix)? I also heard that some CSI are pretty good, but there so
many CSI now which ones are the best?

What are some of your favorite shows? (...and don't say Pimp My Ride...)

Thanks,
Stewart
