Here we go.....I've got all kinds of failed suicide attempt stories from all my 
years in the ER.....I've often thought of writing a book titled "Suicide, 
getting it right the first time".  Tongue in cheek, of course!

Yea, we had a guy who put a 9mm to his temple too far forward and only blew out 
all his optics plus his frontal lobes. We all felt so sorry for him that we 
chipped in and bought him a 50# bag of dog kibble for the seeing-eye dog what 
he was going to need. See, cops have a soft side too.
