I've seen that color interior before, so it very well could be original. At least it does not have the metric wheels and tires (good thing). But the GTSi, especially the early ones like this one, were known to have engine troubles...I believe something to do with the cylinder liners. In any event, many engines were replaced under warranty. Check records, and certainly have a compression and leakdown test performed. The sounds, feel and driving experience is not to be forgotten, and the targa top is icing on the cake. Just be aware that any modern "grocery getter" today is faster. So if mom's in Honda Accords passing you would embarrass you, then move on... ;-) Dave -----Original Message----- From: Azam, Naweed S [mailto:Naweed.Azam [at] sonyericsson.com] Sent: Friday, November 30, 2007 11:24 AM To: dave [at] davehanda.com Cc: The FerrariList Subject: [Ferrari] 1980 FERRARI 308 GTSi available Hi Everyone, A friend is considering purchasing this car and I wanted to get some feedback from other list members: http://raleigh.craigslist.org/car/481265739.html I have never seen a 3x8 with that color interior before so I have no idea if it is the original interior or a redone job. All the best, Naweed. _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/dave%40davehanda.com Sponsored by BidNip.com eBay Auction Sniper http://www.BidNip.com/ and F1 Headlines http://www.F1Headlines.com/
