Enterprise! Many years ago, during a recall Nissan had on leaky fuel
injectors on Maxima's, I had to wait about four months for parts. Free
Enterprise loan car the entire time. I think I had three different ones
during that time.240sx, Altima and a SUV of some sort. All I paid for was
gas. Oh, and by the time I got my Maxima back, they had to buy me a new
battery too, as it was deader than a door nail, and was practically new when
I dropped it off. All hail battery tenders! ;)

So what's the status report Dr. Ken? Car back yet? How's she drive?

The biggest delay was waiting for parts from Germany. All are here now, car
is in the early stages of assembly. Still porting and polishing and
hand-lapping the valves. They have a clean room for assembly which looks
good enough for building satellites.

After this long I am more interested in doing it right than deadlines.
Enterprise Car Rental asked me for a picture to hang in their Hall of Fame!
