Ok, so what do you call it when: - It demands attention (it will break if you let it sit) - It wants only the best food (91 octane or better) - It wants only designer food (synthetic oils) - It loves full body massages (hand washes) - It always wants to look its best (car cover and McGuire's quick detail) - Goes to the doctor frequently for some obscure reason - It loves new shoes (they drive much better on new tires compared to old tires) - They come in many colors from blonde (FLY yellow) to brunette (black) to red heads and there are even some blue hairs out there but lets face it, it is the reds demand the attention. - By the average man's standards, they are all considered high maintenance - Some have big butts (Testarossa) and some have small butts (330 2+2) - Some have junk in the trunk and some really don't have a trunk (I know same as the last one but also funny) - Some are obviously built to have kids (the 2+2 models) and some are obviously not built with kids in mind - Some you are seen all around town with and some you keep hidden away for those secret rondevus - Some days you can't focus on work because you are only dreaming of your next time to be with it - Just the sight of a good looking one without a bra on can give a man a woody - They are the most fun when they are turned on and you are in them - They are the most fun to ride when they are screaming (7K+ RPMs!) Feel free to add more. Let's face it, these cars are definitely women. I believe the she pronoun is correct when used to describe Ferraris. But, I also agree that most cars are just machines. Very few cars evolve to have personalities and I believe Ferraris do. I have never done this, not to say that doing so is wrong, but is this typical? Do you guys anthropomorphize your cars as well? Last time I checked, my cars were just machines. Then again I call our dog, 'dog' and our cat, 'cat'. I'm sure they have names but I don't seem to use them. :-P Congratulations! The 308 is a wonderful experience! rick PS: No, I am not flameing, just questioning. _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/dave.craig%40sbcglobal. net Sponsored by BidNip.com eBay Auction Sniper http://www.BidNip.com/ and F1 Headlines http://www.F1Headlines.com/
