Ferrari Mailing List: Racing & Flag Girls

Hi Ya'll.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend -

I watched a Porsche video that featured the Race Girls that appear at all 
the races holding flags, kissing drivers, pointing to the cars and says, 
"Oooooh, Ahhhhhh." and other such tributes to a life of clean living and a 
good vocabulary. ;-)

Anyway, I started wondering where these girls come from?  Do they follow the 
various race series, traveling from race to race?  Are they local honeys 
asked to perform a invaluable mission for queen and homeland?   Do they 
actively persue the jobs?  Are they paid?

Just curious - it's not a earth shattering quest for knowledge that will 
ultimately provide mankind with the knowledge of the pryamids. ;-)
