Hey John: I might be a relative newcomer to the List (June, 1999), but I have to agree with my fellow Tifosi Therese. The marque, and our common love and dedication to it, beings people of various walks of life together as one. Being a poor broken down newspaperman who never really had a pot to piss in, but with a real passion for auto racing, Ferrari, fine watches, and weapons, it has given me the opportunity to share views with other like-minded people. Let's face it, I have really nothing in common with folks like Steve Jenkins and many Listers except the above mentioned subjects. He's living on Mt. Everest and down here in Death Valley. Hell, I do things like minor service but anything beyond that would be like brain surgery to me. But I'm?a more?well-rounded person for the List giving me the opportunity to explore various lifestyles, thoughts, and ideas that would never have been available to me without our beloved List. So thanks to our 2 Steves, all of you Listers and?yea, even you cLyDe(TM). FYI: My idea of 'Dying with Dignity' is with a Ferrari sitting in your garage and not shitting your skivies. I'm a lister for 7 years now. I am interested in learning as much as I can, about Ferrais, that is... (buying them, transporting them, fixing them or even finding a mercedes part that will fit if a needed part is unobtainable) Until they get too techy, then they lose me. Admittedly, the "hen session" side appeals to me as I'm used to it that way. Pretty much, the only Ferrari talk I can add, as I don't have one yet, is that I've been to every Cavallino but one. (thx John and Alicia!!) I am looking forward to seeing everyone who will be attending this year and to meeting new friends, too. I also look forward to the day I can add to the list as an owner, a very proud owner. Therese ======= **************Start the year off right.
