Yup. I mixed in a qt of the "non-NS" (ie regular 75W90) to get a bit of positrac lube. Positrac shudders, pops, and binds, 2nd and 3rd are 'notchy', and it has a minor grind going into 4th at redline that wasn't there immediately before changing oil. Before changing oil, the only trans issue was the infamous "can't go into 2nd when cold". That disappeared after the oil change, but the other problems popped up. If I run the holy pee out of the car on a hot day, the oil heats up and thins down. Then it shifts OK. But that is not practical on a daily basis. Gut feeling based on much studying: I need a thinner oil. MTL has been recommended extensively, and is apparently the fluid of choice for 348 and 355 Challenge cars. I'll try it soon. Hans.
