Yo - Rick - we had our 308 GTS seats done by Autos International. Generally Pebble Beach Porsche guy (he just finished with a 959 redo of the entire interior and did our national Porsche concours winning interior freshen up - only replaced what was broken) - OK so much for quality. Seams are perfect. I wanted Tony Nancy to do it just cause but that will be impossible now as he's doing the stitch work for Gabriel. Anyhow - about 8 years ago - 1200. Just the seats, pocket in back (um, you don't have that do you?) and head rests. What a smell - still.

Hello Gang,

Reading the 308 stuff you've posted and a Ferrari
auction on SPEED last night has me inspired to get
back to work on my 308. I need to get the A/C done
but that's no big deal. I'll handle that locally,
doing much of the R&R work myself. What I am
considering is redoing the interior but NOT on a
shoe-string budget like I have been doing, redying,
etc.. I'm considering new seat covers, carpets and
refinishing the dash. Everything else is in pretty
nice shape.

There are a number of places who market kits for this
kind of work but please tell me of the outfits YOU may
have used. I know its expensive and I can live with
that. I just don't like paying for worthless prestige
mark-up.

Thanks,

Rick
