I have had no end of trouble trying to post pictures to the list. As you might suspect, there were two earlier posts about 1 minute apart, that did not make it through the system to the Digest. The picture files that I sent were downsized (at Jim's suggestion) and all about the same size (~70-100k). I tried several earlier posts with larger file sizes and multiple pictures per post. All of them failed to go through, with no error message returned from the server. Does anyone else have trouble posting pictures or did everyone get a home page and put the pictures up there? Clyde, she is an 308 GTSi, the odometer reads ~7800 miles, but we all know how easily disconnected they are. She was owned by a car collector in Westchester NY and was not driven much at all. She is essentially rust-free and in very good original condition. The acceleration is very good, the brakes are even better and she handles like she is on rails. I took a relative who owns a 70's Vette for a ride and she came back with a huge silly grin on her face. I sold my 1959 Jaguar XK-150-S to buy this car and could not be happier with the result. I fell in love with 308s when they came out and never though that I could afford one. I've been restoring English sports cars all my life; MGs TRs Morgans and Jags, but now have found my true love. I do all my own mechanical and electrical work, but leave painting to the experts. Besides, it was a great excuse to fill out the metric tool drawers in my tool chest. All this and available for the cost of a Toyota Solara V-6 convertible! Regards, George
