Hi Rick,
These photos will be published in Excellence - a quality, slick national Porsche only magazine - can I just use the "Save As" function?

Just tried it and Viola! Works fine - just tried it and ended up with a 8MB photo - so I can reduce it by 1/2 and the quality will be even better (they asked for 1-4MB). I use a Nikon digital that's pretty good - not $1000 camera good - but $250 good. It's 3-4 years old but still works pretty good.

Thanks much for the help!! I'll let everyone know when my article is on sale. ;-)

Your pictures, Larry, are probably stored in a
compressed format; e.g., J-PEG (.jpg) making them
smaller but sacrificing a little quality. Try saving
them as TIFF (.tif) images. The files will be larger
but higher fidelity.
