Matt - I know Karl (List member and my local resource) had done this to a bunch of 308s. At one time he was thinking about doing a kit for it. I don't know if he's still on this list, so I'm copying him on this e-mail, or you can call him at 843-747-1342. -- charles -----Original Message----- From: Matt Boyd [mailto:ferrari308driver [at] gmail.com] Sent: Tuesday, March 11, 2008 1:26 PM To: Charles Perry Cc: The FerrariList Subject: Re: [Ferrari] 308 A/C repairs If anyone has the specifics on this upgrade or any other upgrade on the system, please post to the list, it would be of particular interest. It might be on f-chat, I havne't looked. My compressor has a leak around the shaft so I plan to replace instead of rebuilding someday, although I'm in no big rush. The system sucks more than it blows, and if there's an improvement I'll be interested. -matt '85 euro 308 On 3/11/08, Jeff Greenfield <coyote [at] acme-ltd.com> wrote: > If you are replacing the compressor, why not move to a modern rotary > compressor? > > I beleive that sanden is the common replacement.
