it was written <<Dems blame their failures on themselves.>>
Not in this lifetime.
They either -- (all the while they refuse to leave office)
1. Deny anything happened.
2. Deny there's a problem.
3. Admit something *may* have happened but they cannot remember what it was.
4. Admit something happened but it was inconsequential.
5. Admit it but say everybody does it.
6. Blame it on the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.
7. admit it and blame the drugs/alcohol that were always available.
8. Admit something happened but they've found God and should be forgiven by the public.
9. Blame the Talk Shows for it.
10. Yade, yada.

+1.....Dems blame their failures on themselves. Republicans blame 'addictions'/drinking problems, and promptly flee to country-club rehab facilites ('cough' Mark Foley 'cough', Newt Gingrich 'cough' 'cough'..... --- On Thu, 3/13/08, Mike <themightytoe [at] gmail.com> wrote:

IF the politician is having any kind of sexual relations with a woman it is
a foregone conclusion that it is a democrat...
What country have you been living in anyhow? Sorry it may be my Midwest upbringing causing some bias here but Dude with hot 1000$ an hour hooker does not make the hair on the back of my neck stand up nearly as much as Dude in public restroom scoping out other dudes...
But maybe I am just a Left Wing Liberal...

The Liberal Media, as you put it, are basically the poor schleps who goout every day and cover the homicides, police blotter, city council
meetings, etc. Now, true, there do seem to be a few Liberal papers out
there (the New York Times and Boston Globe might spring to mind) but in most
cases, the editors and/or publishers of newspapers are rather wealthy
conservative types. There was a story on the radio about a week ago, can't rememberexactly where or when, now, having to do with the question of "Does it help or hinder for a newspaper to give their endorsement to a candidate?"

Yesterdays USA Today cover story on the NY Governor scandal, which was
covered in the front half of the paper and 1/2 the second page as well, the
article mentioned Spitzer many times and the former NJ Gov McGreevey's sex
scandal. And as predictable as the sun setting, none of these mentions by
USA today of the two resigned NY & NJ governors included any mention
whatsoever of their party affiliation of democrat.
Not once . But in the one menton in the same article of Idaho Senator Larry
Craig and his scandal, the USA today immediately identified Craig as a
Republican.
No media bias of course.
