Carb cars 'search' or can't hold a constant idle speed
when the mixture is too lean.  My guess is that when
cold, you're getting enough enrichment to hide the
problem.  Then when warm, the mixture is too lean -
and the idle pulses, or hunts.  Check fuel pressure,
and similar.
