OK

Cool advice and an easy check but what causes the idle speed to pulse?

Just looking to know.

So this only happens when the car is cold correct?
And disappears when car is warm?

If so check the coolant sensor in the coolant recovery tank.
Clean the connection first they might be corroded.

I have a 1987 328. For a long time, when the car gets warmed up, it
pulsates slightly at idle. Otherwise, the car run fine. Any ideas
what could cause this. Thanks.
