A little off topic, but I had something unusual set off my V1's laser detector this weekend. I was cruising up Hwy 61 in Charleston which is a beautiful scenic tree-canopied road that passes all the historic plantations. Pretty to drive, but usually slow, especially this time of year because of tourists looking for the plantations. Near Middleton Plantation my laser went off and I couldn't see any police car, nor any of the cars with IR based cruise control or tail lights which usually cause the falsing. Then I saw a tourist standing by the side of the road. She was taking a photograph of the historic marker sign next to the plantation, and the IR from her camera's autofocus mechanism had set off my detector. Those V1s are sensitive! :-) -- charles
