I am looking to buy a ferrari 355 berlinetta, pref a 98 or 99 in the next
year. Can anyone help with general info (insurance, service schedule, etc)

There is nothing to it

 the hype is with the dealers and the Ferrari Market News Letter which is
nothing more than an extended mouth piece for the dealer network that’s it

FML is a good tool for locating cars but the prices are so inflated and
unrealistic that North Koreans even know this!

Do your homework with regards to records and the like and you have  this
list which can assist you

Most on the list are owners 

Buy the car just like any other car , with your head not your wallet!

I use Autoweek for a true representation on what is going on with the market
and the Dealers are suffering right now 

You will soon see new cars on dealers show room floors!

A first for the FNA market.

For example there are 599 on the used market ! ( latest Auotweek)

What does that tell you ?

I wish I could find the post from the Dealer who lurked on the list years
ago who said that Ferrari would never make more than 4000 cars a year, he
had his head so far up his ass his face was brown.

Ferrari will make over 5000 cars this year world wide in a down economy. he

Get the latest 355 you can afford it will have all the service bulletins
completed 

Max price for a 355 is $60k no matter whos ass sat in the car 

Remember it is a 10 year old car and its still a car!

The 360/430 market killed that car big time

Remember its your money and like I have always said buy the car like a drug
deal

Cash and there are plenty around!

By the way how much do you want to spend?

And please keep in mind that the 355 like many late model Ferraris are tied
to the dealer for even the most mundane maintenance items.
