It was used in motorcycles for years and years without any problems. BUT being air-cooled, the temps were higher burning off the sulphur that was plaguing cooler running water-cooled cars. Since the US and the rest of the world cleaned up the fuels, this is almost a no-issue. Of course I could be making all this up...
