I'm about the same height and came to a similar conclusion when I went Ferrari shopping 11 years ago. I ended up buying an 87' TR which I drive almost every day.

most frequent comment from people around here when I take the 328 out is
"this is what a Ferrari should look like"
I don't want to discuss preferences, but the 328 is in fact the last of the
Ferrari's you can work on yourself for most if not all issues.
And I do think it's price will keep going up
