Shields are the same part right and left (about 920 each). Other parts that are left-right specific often have no consistency in prices. It's not uncommon to see a 3-4 fold difference in the price R v L. Another one that amazes me is the foglights on the 80s and 90s cars. Over 1K for the clear lens as used in the US - IF you can get them. The French market version with an amber lens can be less than a tenth the price and readily available. Another one is the center console plate in a Mondial t. US version (with temp in F) is $1400+, if available. The UK verison with degrees C is $220. Otherwise, exactly the same part.

The shields is a must

Shields up, captain.

Yes - Factory installed shileds. There is an indentation made in the fender for them. Similar to the Ferrari nose badge. If I recall, replacements shields are pricey and one is nearly half again the price as the other side. Did I say that right? Well, there is a left and right side and they aint the same price.

The Porsche PDK tranny IS amazing - but then they have been fooling about with them in race cars for over 20 years. Only problem is the size of the torque converter - Jim Hall complained about that short coming. McLaren could use a 5" clutch pak and he was stuck with a 10" converter. Alas, the problems with racing.
