I am not able to answer most your questions with info on the USA market but it was reported over here last month that Ferrari has discontinued making the 430 coupe for the rest of the model run of 430s. They are making the spider only. I don't think this includes the CS and it may only be the RHD cars. Wondering if this is true for the USA cars as well?

Rumors (rumours) along the lines of "no more 6-spds" and "no more coupes" seem to circulate fresh daily. The vagaries and seemingly intangible business operations at Ferrari leave me, to be polite, "nonplussed" so I have to just ignore their behavior and wait for the car and plan on the next car. Now that I'm finally at the stage of the order process, I find it much easier to forgive and forget the last year. When I'm feeling a bit "generous" towards this Ferrari dealer and to the factory, I feel it's not unlike working with any artist in their realm -- how they create, how they function, how they work: it's entirely up to them. I get to appreciate whatever comes and that's the full extent of the relationship. Do I wish that Ferrari had the internal operations of Porsche? Not really, since Porsche is no better, they're just easier to understand -- they're methodical and well-regimented in their own particular form of incompetence and disregard for the customer. : ) So it goes. But I know the day that F430 key is in my hand, my thoughts will be far away from all this business nonsense.
