Re: Own a Mondial? Need a battery?

I had several different batteries in the 308gt4 and none of them liked
infrequent driving. I had to plan a drive with battery charging and the like
if I had not driven the car for a while.

Then I got a Federal Part #700U, 12 volts, 720 CCA (i.e cold cranking amps
at 0 degrees Farenheit), Length = 222mm (8-3/4"), width = 175mm (nearly 7"),
height = 203mm (8"), weight = 15.2kg (about 34lb).

This battery is maintenance free, has a lot of grunt and will kick over the
car even when it has not been driven for ages. Only drawback is that the
price is quite high compared to other batteries (at least double) especially
here in Australia, but the trouble freedom has more than made up for that.

Cheers,
Grahame
