Ok, looks like I'm going to build a new PC.   Question is...What
motherboard?   This will mainly be used for household apps and surfing the
net.    I also just bought a new HD Camcorder, so I will do some light video
editing.    I'm guessing a quad core processor, so what chipset/motherboard?


 

Second question..I'm currently running Win2K, which is outdated.   I will
need either XP Pro or Vista for the HD Camcorder software.  I've been
fearful of Vista because of all the complaints with it.   How long will XP
be supported for? 

Any recommendations here?
